Buz Lewis, Founder & CEO

Edward “Buz” Lewis founded Buztronics in 1989. Buz’s first invention was the bliking button: a pin switch activated LED circuit wired into the back of a beer bottle cap. From those humble beginnings, Buz has grown his company into a multi-million dollar enterprise.

At Buztronics, the EPI division is committed to developing and delivering highly innovative, fun, functional and affordable products.

1989 – Buz invents the world’s 1st high efficency blinking button
1989 - Began partnership with Coors Brewing Company
1990 - Product manufacturing in China begins
1991 - product offering expanded to include more innovative, patented items
1995 - Received growth 100 Award & Recognized in Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in America
1996 - Began partnership with Miller Brewing Company & Buz is Featured in Business Week
2000 - Light up bouncy ball is introduced
2001 - Dice shot glass introduced & received growth 100 award & the light up pen is introduced & Buztronics is awarded its first Blue Chip Community Award
2002 - Buztronics Canada opens & Button design acquired and begins manufacturing buttons begins at headquarters in Indianapolis, IN
2003 - LED serving tray introduced
2004 - 1 million piece custom order devleoped for coors brewing company: coors light snow flake on-pack piece desinged and developed at buztronics
2006 - Smart Button product launch
2008 - Award winning ecobutton product launch & over a quarter million miller lite sound post cards designed and developed at buztronics
